Activities for Friday night include: (Held from 5:30PM to 10PM) Lighting of the city Christmas Tree, Lighting of the Parade of Trees in Spring Park, Music and entertainment food and beverages, Children’s games, Honoring the students from area schools for their essays, poetry and art work and Honoring the men and women of our armed forces who will not be home for Christmas with their families · Activities for Saturday include: (Held from 9AM to 5PM) Games, Merchandise Vendors & Food Vendors, Entertainment, One Mile Jingle Bell run (Florida Striders), Christmas Parade (City of Green Cove Springs), Meeting Santa Claus at the Old Jail, Tour the newly renovated Old Courthouse (Clerk of Courts) We're preparing for this year's activities and can REALY use your support!!! We are planning on another great weekend. Friday Nights (5:30 – 10:00pm) events will be on Walnut St. (east side of US 17) and the Saturday activities 9:00am – 5:00pm will be on Walnut St. and Palmetto on the west side of US 17.
