UNIVERSAL PICK-UP HAS CLAY COUNTY UP IN ARMS
Full Description:
Like much of the county, last week The Lake Region Monitor received a bill that says simply "Clay County, Florida" with a post office box return address. It was dated the day before Thanksgiving, Nov. 22.
The writing at the top, in bold letters, says "Fiscal Year 2006-07 Solid Waste Collection Assessment." Then in more bold letters, all caps, it spells it out for the inattentive: "This is a bill."
