Currently Clay County has several 4-H clubs. Some clubs are more interested in a particular project area than others (such as horse or livestock). Some clubs are more of a general nature.
4-H has projects in any area you can imagine. It's open to youth ages 5-18 (as of September 1st). The 4-H year goes from Sept. 1-Aug. 31.
Green Cove Springs Merchants Association, Inc. meets on the second Tues. evening of every month. The meetings are open to all businesses and individuals committed to promoting the City of Green Cove Springs. See exact dates and location at www.gcsmerchants.org
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. Girl Scouting is for every girl, and membership is open to girls ages 5-17. Adults may join Girl Scouts to help make a difference in the lives of their daughters and/or girls in the community. Call for more information on how to join!
We are a part of the largest service oranization in the world. We are dedicated to helping those in need in our community and around the world. Rotary meets on Monday 12:15 at the Village Imporvement Association facility on Palmetto Avenue, except on Holidays.
We promote safe boating by providing America Safe Boating classes as well as Vessel Safety checks. We have created a detachment in Orange Park and are looking for new members. If interested in learning more about the Auxiliary please contact Bob Strong.
