Special Gardening Programs with guest speakers precede our regular business meetings every  3rd Thursday of the month from September thru May.
The Garden Club of Green Cove Springs was federated in 2008 and is a member of the National Garden Clubs network. It is one of the local clubs of Clay County in District IV, in the Florida Federation of Garden Clubs (FFGC). This affiliation enables our Garden Club the opportunity to participate in events and programs beyond our local level as well.
Our Programs feature informational garden speakers, garden crafts, and video tours of Gardens around the world. We will be posting our programs for the Upcoming year 2011-12 in August. In addition, we decorate our own themed tree for the Parade of Trees, participate in Railroad Days featured by the Historical Society, stage our Annual Plant Sale in late April and plant a tree locally for Florida Arbor Day. Our current Civic undertakings are the beautification of the local Library with Florida native plants, the Veteran's Memorial, and Habitat for Humanity.
Time/Date: 10 AM. The 3rd Thursday of each month September thru May.
Location: Clay County Council on Aging (Senior Center), 604 Walnut Street., Green Cove Springs (US 17 West on Walnut Street at corner of Walnut and Pine).
